Georgia reports 3,034 new cases of Covid, deaths surge to 86

Georgia has reported 3,034 new cases of Covid-19 of 36,400 tests , 3,952 recoveries and 86 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

45,782 individuals remain infected with the virus in Georgia as of today. .

 

The country has had 559,943 cases of coronavirus since February  2020. 

 

506,486 of the 559,943 patients have recovered, while 7,649 have died from the virus so far.

 

1,259,391 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which  437,094 individuals have been fully vaccinated since March 2021.

 

Most of the new cases were confirmed in Tbilisi – 1,202, ,Adjara – 282,  Imereti – 375, Kvemo Kartli – 188 and Shida Kartli regions – 213 cases 

 

More than 7,200 patients are placed in hospitals, while the majority of infected people are undergoing treatment at home.
