Georgia reports 3,282 new cases of coronavirus, 53 deaths

Georgia has reported 3,282 new cases of coronavirus of 49,347 tests, 3,263 recoveries and 53 deaths over the last 24 hours. 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,378

Imereti – 532 cases

Kakheti – 162 cases

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 252 cases

Kvemo Kartli – 121 cases

Shida Kartli –25 cases

Adjara – 272 cases

Guria – 122 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 73 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 76 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 38 cases

A total of 5,626 individuals are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of now, while others remain at home. 

Georgia reported the first two cases of a new Omicron strain of coronavirus yesterday.
