Georgia reports 4,009 new cases of coronavirus, 5,177 recoveries, 45 deaths

Georgia has reported 4,009 new cases of coronavirus of 46,107 tests, 5,177 recoveries and 45 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

49,468 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

 

The country has confirmed 707,290 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 647,878 individuals have recovered, while 9,918 have died from the virus.

 

The new 4,009 cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi – 1,502 cases 

Adjara – 105 cases 

Imereti – 732 cases

Kvemo Kartli – 273 cases 

Shida Kartli – 279 cases 

Guria – 113 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 296 cases 

Kakheti – 523 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 69 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti – 92 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 25 cases

6,271 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 42,201 others are at home as they suffer from a mild illness.

1,965,714 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which  933,322 have been completely vaccinated.
