Georgia reports 4,837 new cases of Covid of 49,386 tests

Georgia has reported 4,837 new cases of Covid in the last 24 hours, while 26 individuals died in the reported period.

 

49,386 Covid tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, including 32,217 antigen tests and 17,169 PCR tests, the government of Georgia reports.

 

The total of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic in Georgia in February 2020 stands at 645, 195. 9,332 people died in the reported period.

 

As for positivity rate, as of October 12, the daily positive rate is 9.79%, for the last 14 days-6.95%, for the last 7 days-8.52%.

 

1,586 individuals recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours, the total number of recovered since April 2020 is 605, 581.

 

Out of 4,837 new cases of Covid, 1,379 were detected in Tbilisi.
