Georgia reports 5,340 new cases of Covid, active infections stand at 51,266

Georgia has reported 5,340 new cases of coronavirus of 55,301 tests, 3,631 recoveries and 62 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

51,266 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

The country has confirmed 743,511 cases of coronavirus since February 26,2020, of which 681,919 individuals have recovered, while 10,300 have died from coronavirus complicatiokns.

666 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, 43,358 individuals are at home due to a mild form of the virus, while 42,434 others are in self-isolation.

1,995,150 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which  948,507 have been fully jabbed.
