Georgia reports 575 cases of Covid, one death in a week

Georgia has reported 575 cases of coronavirus between May 23 and 29. 

One patient died from the virus in the reported period, while 614 people recovered from the virus. 

A total of 104,996 tests were conducted across the country in one week, including 95,506 rapid tests and 9,490 PCR tests.  

Georgia reported its first case of coronavirus back on February 26, 2020.  

The confirmed cases since the time have totaled 1,655,221.  

The virus has claimed 16,811 lives.
