Georgia reports 872 new cases of coronavirus out of 18,331 tests

Georgia has reported 872 new cases of coronavirus out of the 18,331 tests over the past 24 hours.

 

The total number of confirmed cases detected in the country since the spread of the virus back in February 2020 stands at 1,640,550.

 

The daily positivity rate as of yesterday is 4.76%, for the last 14 days – 10.19% and for the past seven days – 6.61%.

 

913 people recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, while 18 others have died from the virus.

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:


  • Tbilisi – 414 cases,
  • Adjara – 27,
  •  Imereti – 107,
  • Kvemo Kartli – 33,
  • Shida Kartli – 42,
  • Guria – 60,
  • Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 84,
  • Kakheti – 61,
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 21,
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 9,
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 14.

 

28,970 remain infected with the virus as of now.
