Georgia reports 910 new cases of Covid out of 6,685 tests

Georgia has reported 910 new cases of coronavirus out of the 6,685 tests in the past 24 hours. 

The total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country has reached 1,626,282 since February 2020.

 The daily positivity rate as of yesterday is 13.61%, for the last 14 days – 20.44% and for the past seven days – 17.28%.

 8,081 people have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, while the total number of people recovered has increased to 1,562,614.

 There have been 32 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. A total of 16,398 people have died from the virus since April 2020.

 The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:

Tbilisi – 474 cases, 
Adjara – 45,
Imereti – 128,
Kvemo Kartli – 39, 
Shida Kartli – 58, 
Guria – 47, 
Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti – 51, 
Kakheti – 31, 
Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 18, 
Samtskhe-Javakheti – 13, 
Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 6.

 47,244 individuals remain infected with Covid as of now of which 2,360 people are placed in hospitals.
