The Governmental Commission for the Coordination of Georgia’s Population and Agricultural Census has finalized plans for the forthcoming population census, scheduled to take place from November 14 to December 19, 2024, the Government press office said.

Led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the commission aims to streamline financial and human resources by combining the population census with an agricultural census, the press office added.

Alongside social and demographic data, the census will gather information on households’ agricultural activities, with preliminary results expected in June 2025 and final results in June 2026.
