Georgia will receive 100,000 doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine from the Red Cross on Saturday, Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze stated earlier today.

Individuals were unable to register for the first dose of Sinopharm in Georgia due to the lack of the vaccine.

As of today Pfizer, Sinovac, Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines are available in Georgia.

More than 1.3 million individuals have been vaccinated in the country so far.

More than 17 per cent of the country’s adult population has been completely vaccinated.
