Georgian ambassador in India brake hoses mysteriously cut, front license plate ripped off – the Print

Two damaged brake hoses and a missing front license plate of a vehicle belonging to the Georgian ambassador to India have raised suspicions of sabotage to target the diplomat, The Print media outlet has reported. 

Per the available information, on October 28, 2022, at 08:30, Ambassador of Georgia to India, Archil Dzuliashvili, was trying to reverse in the Safdarjung Enclave, a city in South Delhi, when the brake system of his car failed. 

He was forced to use the emergency handbrake system.

According to the Delhi Police, they have started investigating the case and will take appropriate measures. 

As a result of the initial inspection, it was also found that oil was leaking from the lower part of the vehicle.

The Print notes that this incident reminded everyone of the incidents that happened in 2012 and 2021 in Indiawhen diplomats from the Israeli embassy in Delhi were targeted by terrorists. Four people, including the wife of an Israeli diplomat, were injured in an explosion in 2012.
