Georgian citizen killed in Turkey deadly quake identified

67-year-old Nani Zarandia from Georgia’s western Senaki municipality, on Monday died in a deadly Turkey earthquake, her family confirmed, with the victim living and working in the country over the past 12 years.

Her death was reported to the family by the individuals with whom the woman worked.

They said a five-storey residential building, where the woman worked, collapsed in the 7.8 magnitude quake. 

More than 1,500 people have been killed in Turkey and Syria in the quake and hundreds were injured. 

Death toll is rising hour after hour.
