Georgian delegation headed by PM attend GLOBSEC events

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, together with Georgian delegation members, attended the Global Security (GLOBSEC) Forum’s gala reception and awarding ceremony late on Thursday.
The event was held in Bratislava Castle.
At the traditional awarding ceremony, the Czech and Slovak Transatlantic Award was presented to the Ukrainian people.
Issued once every two years, the award celebrates those who have made a special contribution to freedom and democracy in Central Europe.
The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Eduard Heger, presented the award to representatives of Ukraine’s delegation.
An award was also presented to Brigadier General Karel Řehka, the Czech Republic’s Director of the National Office for Cyber and Information Security.
GLOBSEC 2022 hosted delegates from 67 countries, including 10 Presidents and Prime Ministers, also Foreign and Defense Ministers from various countries.
Main topic of the 17th Forum of GLOBSEC in 2022 was Solidified Global Security and National Resilience, Tangible Steps in Support of Ukraine and Empowered European Neighborhood.
