Georgian GDP grows by 10.3% in past seven months – Geostat

The National Statistics Office of Georgia said on Wednesday that in July 2022, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the growth of the real gross domestic product (GDP) amounted to 9.7 percent, while the average figure for the first seven months of 2022 was set at 10.3 percent.

As the head of the National Statistics Service of Georgia, Gogita Todradze, said at the briefing, the following sectors made a significant contribution to the growth: transport and warehousing, construction, information and communication, mining industry and trade.

According to him, a downward trend was observed in the processing industry.
