Georgian Gov’t declares May 7, 8, and 10 as public holidays

In compliance with a government decree, May 7, 8, and 10 have been designated as public holidays as Georgia marks Easter on Sunday.

The decree grants administrative bodies the authority to, as necessary and within their jurisdiction, specify the services and personnel exempted from these holiday provisions.

Notably, this resolution excludes financial obligations owed to entities under the oversight of the National Bank of Georgia, as well as activities pertaining to state procurements and those under the purview of the State Procurement Dispute Review Board.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze of Georgia has formally endorsed the resolution on Tuesday.
