The Georgian government said on Tuesday that it extended the social assistance programme for Ukrainian nationals feeling the war until May 1, which includes accommodation and living costs.
The programme was launched in July, with the government ensuring 300 GEL monthly rents for 500 families, while more than 1,000 individuals receiving financial aid.
Russia invaded Ukraine in February. Hostilities have been in progress since then.
