Georgia’s former ambassador to the United States said on Wednesday that “on the background that Russia is engaged with suicidde both politically and economically. The Georgian authorities are following it to the grave”.

“Azerbaijan, which has a rather difficult relationship with Russia, manages to pursue its sovereign interests, despite the pressure coming from Russia”.

“Russia has tried to replace Aliyev with other oligarchs, using a scheme similar to the one earlier implemented in Georgia, but failed. Azerbaijan refused to accredit at least one Russian ambassador based on their behavior. Along with all this, they maintain civil relations. The government of Georgia cannot do this. which puts everything in very black and white colors and declares that if we don’t do this, there will be a war – ‘Well, do you want a war?’ – said Iakobashvili.
