Georgian gov’t tests combat drones

The test flight of the Georgian-Polish combat and intelligence unmanned aerial vehicles produced in Georgia was successful, with prime minister Irakli Garibashvili, defence minister Juansher Burchuladze and interior minister Vakhtang Gomelauri attending the event, the government press office said on Friday.

“Combat and intelligence unmanned aerial vehicles carried out a test flight successfully. Polish and Georgian professionals jointly carried out the necessary preparatory procedures for the demonstration flights”, said the press office. 

It also said the Flyeye unmanned aerial system had been designed to perform high-precision tasks in all climatic zones under the conditions of severe meteorological and radio-electronic combat. 

The company Delta-Webe LLC was established in Georgia by Delta International LLC and WB Electronics S.A. for the production of these drones. “

Delta is a company under the ministry of defense of Georgia, producing  military equipment.
