Georgian and Israeli Prime Ministers discussed “joint opportunities” in Jerusalem on Monday on the occasion of 30 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
“It was a great meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on the occasion of 30 years of diplomatic relations between Israel and Georgia. We had a friendly and productive discussion on the joint opportunities between our countries,”Israeli PM Naftali Bennett has tweeted.
Garibashvili, who arrived in Israel from Jordan after a handover of a plot of land for the Georgian culture center near the iconic river, stated that “26 century old friendship [with Israel] is something to be proud of.”
“We are brotherly nations with a common history. We agreed that our ever so growing cooperation will be explored further to unleash untapped potential,” Garibashvili said.
