Georgian MFA condemns attack on Azerbaijani embassy in Tehran

The Georgian Foreign Ministry on Friday condemned an attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran earlier the same day, with one killed and two injured in the incident involving an armed attacker. 

“We strongly condemn the attack on the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran. Any act of violence against any diplomatic mission is completely unacceptable. We convey our condolences to the family of the victim of the tragedy”, said the country’s foreign office. 

The armed man has killed one security official and killed two guards in the incident.
