Nino Tsilosani, a ruling Georgian Dream party MP, on Thursday said the representatives of domestic opposition groups were criticizing Viktor Orbán, the visiting Hungarian PM, as he supported Georgia and its Euro-Atlantic integration.

“We need the kind of support from the EU countries that we see now from Hungary and its PM”, she said.

“Orbán is very clear in his statements over Georgia’s EU candidacy. That is why it is completely incomprehensible to criticize him. Now we must concentrate on all common efforts so that Georgia receives the status”, she added.

Tsilosani claimed the opposition disliked Orbán as he supported the country, while they were acting “against national interests”.
