Georgian Parliament Speaker congratulates Trump, calls for ‘return of common sense’ in global politics

The Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, extended congratulations to Donald Trump on his election as President of the United States via the social media platform X.

Papuashvili expressed hope that this election will “restore common sense to world politics” and counter what he described as the “dominance of perceptions over reality” in Western approaches to Georgia.
