Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Friday congratulated the country’s Armenian citizens and the whole Armenian nation on Christmas and Epiphany, as the Apostolic Church of the neighboring country celebrates the holidays on January 6.

“Today, I would like to extend my congratulations to our Armenian compatriots and our brotherly Armenian people – everyone celebrating Christmas and Epiphany with special joy”, said the PM.

In his social media post, the head of the Georgian government highlighted the “mutual respect and love between our peoples has led to our centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness. I am glad that this relationship is further strengthening. I wish you health, peace and prosperity”.
