Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday extended congratulations to Journalists on Georgian Journalism Day.

“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to journalists on the occasion of Georgian Journalism Day! For over a century, Georgian journalism has been scripting its narrative, a legacy of immense value”, he said. 

The official further stressed “your pivotal role in keeping the public informed is undeniable. The presence of a free press and independent journalism stands as a significant achievement, one that we are committed to safeguarding and nurturing”.
