Georgian PM discusses economic prospects with his Qatari counterpart

Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Tuesday discussed cooperation, economic prospects with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. 

The parties discussed “key directions and future plans of cooperation” between their countries, on the sidelines of an economic forum. 

“Emphasis was put on the importance of deepening economic and trade relations and tapping into the enormous potential of cooperation between the two countries”, the government press office said. 

Earlier on Tuesday Garibashvili also met with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar. and discussed “the dynamic of productive cooperation between the two countries” in different sectors with him, the press office added. 

The PM has been scheduled to deliver his speech at the forum.
