Georgian PM hails Australia chancellor’s first visit

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday hailed the first visit of Austrian chancellor, Karl Nehammer, to Tbilisi. 

“Honored to host the first ever official visit of the Austrian Federal Chancellor in Georgia. This historic visit reconfirms Georgia-Austria dynamic co-operation and Austria’s firm support for Georgia’’s integration with the EU, along with other matters discussed, were the prospects of deepening trade and economic ties”, Garibashvili tweeted. 

Georgian foreign minister Ilia Darchiashvili also called the visit “very important”.
