Georgian PM meets country’s new ambassadors to Israel, China, Kuwait and Jordan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held meetings on Wednesday with the country’s newly appointed ambassadors to Israel, China, Kuwait, and Jordan, discussing various aspects of bilateral cooperation and future collaboration.
In a meeting with Zaza Kandelaki, Georgia’s new Ambassador to Israel, the PM emphasized the “close and amicable” ties between the two countries. Discussions included priority areas of bilateral cooperation, future plans, and recent developments in the Middle East.
Noshrevan Lomtatidze, the newly appointed Ambassador to Kuwait, engaged in talks with the PM to explore possibilities for “further strengthening” bilateral ties. The meeting also addressed trade and economic cooperation between the two nations.
Relations between Georgia and Jordan were a focal point in the meeting between Garibashvili and Archil Dzuliashvili, the country’s newly appointed Ambassador to Jordan, Iraq, and Libya. The discussions included the ongoing project of building a Georgian culture center near the Jordan River, following the 2022 gifting of land by Jordan to Georgia for this purpose.
In a meeting with Paata Kalandadze, the newly appointed Ambassador to China, the PM delved into the “main directions” of the strategic partnership between Georgia and China. The discussions emphasized the priorities of partnership relations, with officials also reviewing the “successful” visit of the Prime Minister to China the previous year, which elevated the cooperation between the two nations to a strategic partnership.
