Georgian PM meets head of German energy company in Davos

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Wednesday met with Markus Krebber, CEO of RWE AG, a German energy company, discussing Georgia’s energy resources and outlined prospects of future cooperation.

The head of the government has invited Krebber to his country to gain a better understanding of Georgia’s business environment and resources, the government press office said. 

RWE AG is a German multinational energy company headquartered in Essen. 

The company operates in various countries of the world, including Italy, Germany, Poland, France, the Czech Republic, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, Turkey, the US, China, and Japan.

The company’s portfolio includes wind, solar, hydrogen, battery, gas, and other renewable energy generation, employing more than 19,000 people, and its revenues make up 24.5 billion euros.

The Davos World Economic Forum is scheduled to end  on Friday.
