Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Monday hosted Hadas Meitzad, the Israeli Ambassador to Georgia, to hear from her about the ongoing Hamas-Israeli conflict, and condemned the organisation’s “terrorist attack on Israel and its people” earlier this month. The PM also expressed his sorrow over the death of at least 1,300 in the surprise attack by the Palestinian terrorist organisation on October 7 and subsequent attacks, the Government press office said.

The Hamas attack has killed about 276 troops and left over 3,200 injured, according to Monday figures, while Israeli airstrikes have killed about 2,800 and injured more than 9,700 in the Gaza Strip controlled by Hamas.
