Georgian PM meets Ukrainian students at Government-supported summer camp

The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, together with the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Giorgi Amilakhvar, on Tuesday met with Ukrainian students who are attending a summer camp with the financial support of the Georgian government.
Kobakhidze spoke with the children and hosted them for dinner, the Georgian Government Administration said.
From June 15 to July 19, the camp will host two groups of students from Ukraine, including children of National Guard servicemen.
In the first phase, the camp hosts students from the city of Kharkiv, who presented symbolic gifts to the Prime Minister of Georgia and performed songs in both Georgian and Ukrainian.
Over the course of two weeks, Ukrainian students will participate in a variety of educational and entertainment activities. Excursions to Tbilisi, Bodbe, Gremi, and Nekresi are also planned for the camp’s guests, the Government Administration added.
From July 5 to 19, the camp will host the second group, consisting of children of National Guard servicemen from the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv.
