Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili on Friday paid homage to millions of victims of Holocaust, on the day marking the liberation of the largest concentration camp in Poland of Nazi Germany in 1945.

“Today, together with the entire international community, we honor the vivid memory of the millions of victims of the Holocaust. We pay special respect to those who miraculously survived the most tragic event in human history”, Garibashvili said.

He also noted “on this day, we once again confirm our responsibility to never allow a similar tragedy to happen again, and our commitment to confront any manifestation of hatred, to build a safer and freer world”.
