Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has told his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan in Tbilisi that peace and stability in Armenia is important for Georgia and for the whole region.

Garibashvili said that Pashinyan’s visions are for the development and stability in Armenia and ‘he will bring success’ to the country.

Both Pashinyan and Garibashvili said that they should focus on creating new opportunities to decrease threats of conflicts and destabilisation in the region.

Pashinyan thanked Garibashvili for his contribution and mediation in the release of Armenian war prisoners who were held in Azerbaijan.

He stated that intergovernmental relations between the two countries will further activate after the formation of the new government in Armenia and expressed hope that economic cooperation will also be strengthened.
