Georgian PM visits Azerbaijan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Friday left for Azerbaijan with his delegation, where he will hold a face-to-face meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, with the officials scheduled to make joint statements for the media, the government administration said. 

 

The delegation includes the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili and the Head of Government Administration Revaz Javelidze.

 

Aliyev visited Georgia on October 24 last year, which was his first visit to the country since 2015, while Garibashvili visited Azerbaijan for the last time in September 2021.
