Georgian PM visits Turkey with delegation

Irakli Kobakhidze, the Prime Minister of Georgia, embarked on an official visit to the Republic of Turkey, the Government press office announced on Thursday. 

The formal reception of the Georgian Prime Minister will take place at the Turkish presidential palace, where he will be welcomed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the press office added. 

During the visit, there are scheduled face-to-face and extended meetings, culminating in joint statements to the media by the leaders of both nations.

Accompanying Prime Minister Kobakhidze are a delegation comprising First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Irakli Chikovani, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Giorgi Amilakhvari, Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health, and Social Protection Mikheil Sarjveladze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tornike Rizhvadze, and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
