Georgian president “horrified” by decapitation video of Ukrainian war prisoner

Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili on Wednesday said she was “horrified” by the recently released video, showing the decapitation of the Ukrainian prisoner of war by Russian troops. 

 

“I am horrified by the atrocious video showing the decapitation of the Ukrainian prisoner of war. Another crime against humanity. These war crimes must be answered by justice.  Georgia stands and will stand with Ukraine”, she tweeted. 

 

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday urged the world leaders to give a due response to the incident.
