Georgian President leaves for France for Peace Forum without requesting trip

President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili has left for France to feature at the Paris Peace Forum on Friday and Saturday without requesting the trip from the Government.  

 

Zourabichvili, together with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the Swiss Confederation will participate in the work of the panel that will discuss conflicts and crises, the President’s Administration said. 

 

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will also appear at the event amid ongoing controversies with the President.
