Georgian president meets EU Council head

Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili on Monday met with Charles Michel, the head of the European Council, in Brussels. 

Photo and video material of the meeting has been distributed by the press office of the President of Georgia. Additional information about the topics and issues discussed has not been disclosed to any of the parties of the meeting so far. 

Zourabichvili arrived in Brussels from the United States of America, where she met with the President’s National Security Adviser, Jake Sullivan, and before that, she participated in the 67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women of the United Nations Economic and Social Council in New York.

Salome Zurabishvili stopped working meetings due to the mass protests held in Tbilisi on March 7-9. Demonstrators pparliament in the second reading last week.
