Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and his Uzbek counterpart Abdulla Aripov on Monday signed the 2023-2024 action plan of joint practical measures for the development of bilateral cooperation, in an extended format of meeting, following their face-to-face meeting in Tbilisi, at the Government office.

The officials reviewed bilateral trade and economic cooperation, investments, the potential of the Middle Corridor, and expressed their readiness to further strengthen partnership, the Government Administration said.

The sides hailed the ties as “friendly” and “constantly developing”, the press office added, noting the bilateral cooperation had been intensified following Garibashvili’s visit to Uzbekistan in 2022.

It is Aripov’s first official visit to Georgia.
