Georgian volunteer earlier severely wounded by Russian troops killed in Ukraine

Georgian volunteer Zurab Mushukia, who was last year severely wounded by Russian troops and returned to the battlefield after recovery, has been killed in Ukraine. 

 

He died in an explosion near Bakhmut in Donetsk region, according to reports. 

 

Forty-five Georgian volunteers fighting against Russian invaders have been killed since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine in February 2022. 

 

The first death of a Georgian volunteer was reported in March of last year.
