Georgians able to donate blood for Ukrainians amid hostilities

The Georgian citizens  who are eager to support the Ukrainian people who have been injured during the Russian invasion of the country are able to do so, the Georgian Health Ministry has stated. 

 

Those who wish to donate blood can call 1505, or register at donor.moh.gov.ge.

 

The ministry says that following the registration they will contact the individuals to offer the nearest collection point to donate blood. 

 

According to the United Nations  Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights more than 500 have been injured in hostilities in Ukraine since the outbreak of the war on February 24.
