Georgians spend $217 mln in foreign trips in three months

The Georgian citizens have spent about $217 million in foreign trips between July and September of this year, the National Statistics Office of Georgia said in its update on Friday. 

The figures marked an 18.2 percent increase in foreign visits and 7.1 percent in expenses compared to the same period of the last year. 

Georgian citizens went abroad almost 820,000 times in the reported period.
