German FM visits Georgia on Thursday

Annalena Baerbock, the German Foreign Minister, will visit Georgia on Thursday in her first official trip, the German embassy to Georgia said. 

 

The diplomatic mission announced the visiting official would meet with the country’s prime minister, president and the foreign minister, with focuses made on the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration and “strengthening” of bilateral cooperation. 

 

Baerbock is also scheduled to meet with students, the members of the domestic opposition and NGOs. 

 

The official will visit the occupation line in central Georgia before leaving the country on Friday.
