The German company Siemens has announced its decision to completely leave the Russian market.

“The company began the procedures for the termination of its production activities and all business activity,” RBC quoted the company’s application.

In early March, the company said it suspended all deliveries to Russia and the termination of the work of all new business projects due to Russia’s war in Ukraine and the sanctions imposed on the country for its aggression.

Dozens of foreign companies have left Russia in protest since February 2022.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

Hostilities have been in progress since then.
