Germany has expelled two Russian diplomats after the Berlin court sentenced Russian citizen Vadim  iKrasikov to life yesterday for a ‘state-ordered’ murder of Georgian citizen Zelimkhan Khangoshvili back in 2019 in Germany.

Khangoshvili, 40, was a field commander during the second Chechen War (1999-2009) and  he was wanted and persecuted by Russia.

Russian top officials claimed that he was a terrorist.

Russia has dismissed reports on the country’s connection with the murder.

Germany accused Russia of ordering the murder in 2019,while trials into Krasikov’s case began the next year.

The defense claimed that it was a manslaughter without the state involvement.
