Khukhashvili accused the opposition’s political leadership of shirking their responsibility.

Georgian political analyst Gia Khukhashvili on Tuesday criticized opposition party leaders for what he describes as a failure to take command of the country’s growing anti-government movement, warning that their refusal to lead was undermining efforts to challenge the ruling authorities.

Khukhashvili further accused the opposition’s political leadership of shirking their responsibility, saying they acted like "ordinary soldiers" rather than stepping up to coordinate a unified front.

"The opposition army is large, but fragmented," he said. "It needs a command structure, and that leadership should come from the political class. Instead, they deny their role - and seem oddly proud of it."
