Giorgi Amilakhvari, a member of the parliamentary majority, commented on the possible return of the ruling party to the “Michel Document”. According to him, “Georgian Dream” will not just not return to this “document”, but also the given political situation, it is impossible to sign any kind of political agreement in the near future.

“As you are well aware, this agreement, which was meant to go beyond the constitutional framework, was made for one and only purpose – to stabilize the situation in the country. We took a political step, but unfortunately this agreement turned out to be unilateral. The largest opposition party did not sign the document and it was used to deepen radicalization and polarization. And most of those who signed did not meet the conditions and did not participate in the implementation of the clauses. Therefore, their refusal to destroy us, forced us to cancel the agreement. We will categorically rule out the signing of a similar political agreement in the future “ – Giorgi Amilakhvari said.
