Giorgi Gakharia confirms participation in upcoming local elections

Giorgi Gakharia, the leader of the political party For Georgia, has confirmed that he will participate in the upcoming local self-government elections. He made the announcement while responding to a question from MP Tea Tsulukiani, who chairs the parliamentary investigative commission established by the ruling Georgian Dream party.

“Yes, I confirm [my participation in the elections]. I will be fully involved—no need to worry,” Gakharia stated during the commission session, in which he participated remotely.
