Under the leadership of Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, the government held a session to approve ministries’ programs for 2026.

Around 100 sub-programs will be launched across various sectors throughout the year, aiming to make more services accessible to displaced persons, Jincharadze said.

“These 100 sub-programs will cover healthcare, education, culture, sports, youth, economic and agricultural development, infrastructure improvements, and initiatives to restore trust and promote reconciliation. Our goal for 2026 is to achieve tangible results in every sector and ensure that as many displaced people as possible benefit from the new initiatives outlined in these programs,” Jincharadze said.
