Jincharadze outlined initiatives to support students from temporarily Russian-occupied territories who have relocated to continue higher education in Georgia

Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, presented a report on Friday to a joint session of the Parliament’s Education, Science, and Youth Committee and the Temporary Commission on Restoration of Territorial Integrity and De-occupation.

Jincharadze outlined initiatives to support students from temporarily Russian-occupied territories who have relocated to continue higher education in Georgia. 

He stressed the measures the Abkhazian government plans to implement to ensure access to academic programs and integration into Georgian universities.

The session was chaired by Mariam Lashkhi and Giorgi Volski. Attendees included Jemal Gamakharia, Giorgi Dzadzamia, members of the Supreme Council, and representatives of Georgia’s executive and legislative bodies.
