Abkhazia’s Government chief meets Greek Ambassador to discuss support for displaced residents

Abkhazia’s government head, Giorgi Jincharadze, met with the Ambassador of Greece to Georgia, Maria Theodorou, to discuss bilateral cooperation and support for displaced persons from the region, as well as Greece’s continued backing of Georgia’s territorial integrity.
The meeting, held in Tbilisi, was primarily introductory. Jincharadze thanked the Greek diplomat for Greece’s consistent support of Georgia’s territorial integrity, its policy of non-recognition of occupied territories, and its backing of UN resolutions in favor of Georgia.
During the talks, Jincharadze briefed the Ambassador on the activities of the Abkhazian government and the situation in the occupied region, emphasizing humanitarian issues affecting residents.
Both sides also explored opportunities for future cooperation aimed at supporting people displaced from Abkhazia.
